We are seeking **Project Managers** for future opportunities within the **BC Region** .





**Responsibilities:**





o Develops and implements the project safety plan, leading by example for health



and safety practices and procedures.



o Chairs HSE meetings and manages team safety inspections to ensure that policies,



procedures, and standards are followed.



o Chairs project meetings and ensures minutes are properly prepared/reviewed and



promptly issued.



o Participates in estimates and works with subcontractors to secure new work.



o Develops and implements quality management plan and Quality Control (QC).



o Ensures the project is constructed as per design, budget, quality, and schedule.



o Develops the Project Execution Plan (PEP) with the superintendent.



o Manages project performance, schedule, and resources.



o Provides performance status reports for safety, cost forecast, and schedule.



o Performs weekly or monthly detailed project cost review: Labor Cost Reports (LCR)



and Project Cost and Forecast (PCF) reports.



o Performs risk, opportunity management, and forecasting.



o Prepares and/or verifies progress payments to clients and subcontractors, and



monitors progress.



o Understands client expectations and contract, and completes client project-specific



success criteria (CPSSC).



o Creates cost-management structure for budgets, productivities, crew rates, etc.



o Interfaces with the project team, client representative, consultants, and trade



contractors for assigned area or project.



o Understands project organizational structure.



o Sets up project reporting procedures (e.g., labor, material, cost reports, site office



procedures, and document control).



o Negotiates and issues subcontracts, revisions, and major purchase orders, and



monitors their progress and schedule.



o Understands and enforces the contract/contract documents and resolves disputes.



o Participates or leads claims/dispute negotiations with owner and trade contractors.



o Manages all change orders, including negotiating, processing, and assessing cost



and schedule impact.



o Participates in overall project closeout, including document archival, maintenance



and warranty manuals, deficiencies, and warranty work.



o Oversees commissioning plan development, closeout plan, and their execution.



o Oversees pre-commissioning or commissioning and closeout.



o Other duties as required.




**Qualifications:**




**o** Postsecondary education or training in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.



o 5-8 years of progressive construction experience with leadership and mentoring



preferred.



o 12 months of estimating or related experience preferred.



o Knowledge and application of safety and environment principles/procedures/



legislation.



o Demonstrated experience implementing a strong safety culture.



o In-depth knowledge of construction industry and company operations, including



building materials, construction specifications, methods and procedures, safety,



and quality management practices.



o Ability to identify and manage risk and opportunities on simple construction



projects.



o Ability to identify staffing and hourly labor issues.
