The Real Estate Manager II is a multi-faceted role that calls upon the skills of a project manager, contracts specialist, financial analyst, and events manager. You have these skills in addition to being highly collaborative, process improvement minded and creative. This makes you uniquely ready to deliver day-to-day operational excellence while driving best practices and new opportunities that elevates our leadership position in real estate practices.
The portfolio is diverse, ranging from building refresh projects to art projects, initiatives inspired by team member to events attended by high profile VIPs, from addressing minor fixes to providing sustainability solutions. The opportunity to partner with so many diverse parties and gain new learnings are vast.

Here's how...
* Creating annual project plans and tracking/reporting monthly status
* Leading project management including solution sourcing for external contractors, landlord/property manager and building security
* Providing leadership to external resources, consultants, and contractors
* Building and enhancing strong relationships with landlords/property managers and vendors including resolving issues and challenges and identifying strategic opportunities
* Developing and implementing programs and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Owning contracts management, including organizing facility and/or infrastructure service contracts
* Providing insights and recommendations to strategic changes or modifications to various contracts
* Developing improved cost models to drive operational efficiencies (e.g. governance controls on real estate transactions)
* Ensuring strong financial administration through careful review and cataloguing of financial documents including invoice reconciliation and payment approval
* Leading building tours to showcase the unique architectural aspects, environmental stewardship and artwork at TELUS Garden building in downtown Vancouver

* Known as an exceptional communicator, collaborative, innovative and process-improvement focused
* Regarded as a builder of strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including vendors
* Confident at engaging and interacting with internal and external executive leaders and VIPs
* Recognized for your record of successfully managing multiple, concurrent projects and priorities including risk management, and delivering on commitments
* Noted for your ability to interpret and translate corporate strategies into programs and project plans
* Respected as having strong financial analysis, budget management and modeling skills
* Ability to work outside of normal business hours as required by specific events
* 5 or more years' real estate and/or constructions experience
