What YOU Do:
The Broadband Networks team is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and self-directed individual with a proven track-record of delivery.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play an instrumental role in leading multiple projects to deliver system and value chain capabilities as part of our Fibre Inventory Fulfillment & Assurance (FIFA) roadmap for consumer customers.
Your primary responsibility will be leading a cross functional team to plan and execute system capability and process improvements to deliver a Customer First experience for our consumer PureFibre customers. Collaboration across business units and with key stakeholders to develop, and execute on these initiatives with multi-faceted complexity and business impact is a key part of being successful in this role.
Accountabilities include:
* Advancing software and system solutions from Concept through to Delivery by focusing on desired outcomes
* Developing roadmaps to support full delivery of capabilities
* Providing updates to advance funding and meet governance requirements
* Facilitating requirements and defining user stories with cross-functional stakeholders in our Channel, Installer and Support teams that support consumer customers
* Developing business cases to assess and prioritize ideas
* Providing high level assessments of impacts of changes to systems, tools and processes
* Participating & providing input into design of solution
* Communicating with stakeholders throughout the project life cycle
* Development & execution of test plans
* Process and user documentation
* Measuring & evaluating post-deployment performance
* Identifying continuous improvement opportunities
What YOU Bring:
* We need someone with strong analytical skills including, business case development, requirements gathering, user-story development, software testing, process design methodologies to add bench strength to our team of high performing analysts
* The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in testing and monitoring complex project, preferably in the telecommunications industry
* Having strong leadership skills and supporting large cross functional teams will be essential to be successful in this role as will having a great sense of humour
* It's a given that you'll be a great all-round communicator with strong Microsoft (MS) PowerPoint, presentation and facilitation skills as well as the ability to manage a variety of stakeholders to solve problems, motivate people often including virtual team members
* Having the innate ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, over whom you have little or no authority over, and gain their buy-in is what separates the good from the great
* Outstanding business acumen with the ability to anticipate and develop strategies in a rapidly evolving telecommunication industry is a must
* Bachelor degree or post-secondary diploma in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent education and/or experience
* Business Analysis & Project Management certifications would be an asset
